Amy Petersen Brown

Amy Headshot

1001 Military Cutoff #101
Wilmington, NC 28405

Amy grew up in Southern California and moved to Rapid City, SD at the age of 11. After graduating from high school, Amy enlisted in the Coast Guard where she served for 23 years and retired as a Senior Chief Boatswain’s Mate. During her time in the service, some of the positions she held were as Officer in Charge of a Search and Rescue unit, Federal Law Enforcement Officer, Federal Fisheries Instructor, and Coast Guard Recruiter. Hard work, effective communications, and taking care of people are values she worked to display daily while in the service and will continue to carry on into her new career.

As someone who transferred nine times throughout her military service, Amy knows the importance of a great realtor. Many of her moves with her family were either across country or many states away. As a person who has purchased and sold multiple homes and pieces of land, she understands the stress and anxiety that can come with searching for a new home, or trying to sell a home and trusting that your realtor is taking care of you.

In October 2019, Amy began working in Real Estate as a Client Care Coordinator/Closing Coordinator where she quickly achieved her goal of becoming a licensed Realtor. Amy is excited to serve her clients with dedication, loyalty, communication, and hard work.

Amy is married to Eric Brown, who currently serves in the Coast Guard as the Command Master Chief for Sector North Carolina in Wilmington. They have two boys Noah (8), Jonah (5), and a golden retriever named Hudson (9mos). Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves taking her family out on their boat and exploring the local islands. Her favorite sports teams include the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and Green Bay Packers. She loves to play softball, tennis and golf.

After many moves Amy and Eric have decided to make Hampstead their final home!
