Fall Festivals & Sites 

The Ironman 70.3 triathlon will be October 19th. The triathlon consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and 13.1 mile run. If you enjoy craft beer, join the Lighthouse Beer & Wine Festival October 26th. There will be over 100 craft breweries and wineries alongside live music and food vendors during the event. 

 

Halloween Getaways 

 

Wilmington makes for a spooktacular Halloween getaway. You can get a scare on a haunted pub crawl or a ghost walk of Old Wilmington. You will learn about the history of Wilmington and the haunts of it also. Poplar Grove Plantation offers a paranormal ghost tour. The Battleship of NC will have Halloween fun on deck!. Enjoy a day of pumpkin themed celebrations at the Children's Museum, Trick or Treat Under the Sea at the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher and a Halloween ghost trolley and haunted barn.
